Likvidációk

Likvidációk refers to the process of closing down a company or other legal entity. This can occur for various reasons, including insolvency, voluntary decision by owners, or the expiration of the company's purpose. The primary goal of a liquidation is to settle all outstanding debts and distribute any remaining assets to the stakeholders, typically shareholders.

There are generally two main types of liquidation: voluntary and compulsory. Voluntary liquidation is initiated by the company's members or creditors, usually when the company is solvent but no longer wishes to operate. Compulsory liquidation, on the other hand, is ordered by a court, often due to insolvency or other legal issues.

During the liquidation process, a liquidator is appointed. This individual is responsible for managing the company's affairs, selling its assets, collecting debts owed to the company, and paying off its liabilities. Once all assets have been realized and liabilities settled, the liquidator will prepare a final report. If the liquidation was voluntary, the members will approve the report. In a compulsory liquidation, the court will review it.

Upon completion of the liquidation process and the distribution of any surplus assets, the company is formally dissolved and ceases to exist as a legal entity. This process ensures that a company's affairs are brought to an orderly close, protecting the interests of creditors and stakeholders.
