Liikemääräys

Liikemääräys, known in English as momentum, is a fundamental concept in physics. It is a vector quantity that describes the quantity of motion an object possesses. Mathematically, liikemääräys is defined as the product of an object's mass and its velocity. The formula for liikemääräys is often represented as p = mv, where p is the liikemääräys, m is the mass, and v is the velocity. Since velocity is a vector, liikemääräys is also a vector, meaning it has both magnitude and direction.
