Leviämistiet

Leviämistiet refers to the traditional Finnish folklore and mythological concept of the network of invisible paths and roads that crisscross the countryside. These paths, also known as leviämistiet or " dancing paths," are believed to be used by the spirits of the land and by the ghosts of the dead.

According to Finnish folklore, leviämistiet are a system of roads that connect the most important sites in the landscape, such as burial mounds, ancient settlements, and sacred rocks. These paths are said to be invisible to the naked eye, but can be seen by those with the necessary knowledge and intuition.
