Lenkgestängen
Lenkgestängen, often translated as steering linkages or tie rods, are essential components of a vehicle's steering system. They connect the steering gear, such as the steering rack or steering box, to the steering knuckles of the wheels. The primary function of the lenkgestängen is to translate the rotational movement of the steering wheel into the linear motion required to turn the wheels. This allows the driver to control the direction of the vehicle.
A typical lenkgestänge system consists of several parts, including tie rods, tie rod ends, and adjustment sleeves.
Damage to lenkgestängen can result from impacts, such as hitting a curb or pothole, or from wear
