Leje

Leje refers to the payment made by a tenant to a landlord for the temporary use of property or services, and to the arrangement under which such use is granted. It is commonly associated with the lease or tenancy agreement that sets the terms for occupying a dwelling, commercial space, or other asset.

In a rental relationship, the tenant pays rent (leje) to the landlord, typically on a monthly basis, and may be required to provide a security deposit.
