Leigong, also known as the Thunder Duke or Lord Lei, is a prominent deity in Chinese folk religion and Taoism. He is primarily associated with thunder and lightning, commanding the skies with his powerful presence. Leigong is often depicted as a fearsome figure, typically with avian features, such as wings and claws, and wielding a hammer and chisel to strike the heavens and create thunder. He is sometimes accompanied by his consort, Dian Mu, the Mother of Lightning, who controls lightning.
