Lavinio is a coastal town and a fraction of the municipality of Anzio, located in the Metropolitan City of Rome Capital, in the Lazio region of Italy. Situated on the Tyrrhenian Sea, it is part of the Castelli Romani area and is known for its beaches and natural environment. Historically, the area is associated with the legendary founding of Rome.
