Laudandilaus

Laudandilaus is an extinct genus of ruminant mammals that lived during the Late Miocene epoch. The name Laudandilaus is derived from the Latin words "laud," meaning praise, and "andalus," referring to the Iberian Peninsula, where the fossil remains were initially discovered.

Laudandilaus is known from several fossil finds in Spain and Portugal, including teeth, jaws, and other skeletal remains. The study of these fossils has provided valuable information about the evolutionary history of ruminants during this period. The genus is considered to be a member of the family Giraffidae, to which modern giraffes and okapi belong.
