Landsrétt
Landsrétt is the Icelandic Court of Appeal. It is the only appellate court in Iceland, handling appeals from the district courts. The court was established on January 1, 2018, replacing the former Supreme Court's appellate function and the previously existing court of appeal, Landsréttur. Its primary role is to review decisions made by the lower district courts, examining both factual and legal aspects of cases.
