Löökpuurimist

Löökpuurimist, also known as percussion drilling or hammering drilling, is a drilling method that uses a repeated impact force to break and penetrate material. Instead of continuous rotation like conventional drilling, a tool strikes the surface repeatedly. This impact energy is transmitted through the drill bit, causing the material to fracture and be removed. The process often involves a mechanism that generates these impacts, such as a pneumatic hammer, a hydraulic ram, or a manual striking tool. The force of the blows, the frequency of the impacts, and the type of drill bit used are all important factors determining the effectiveness of löökpuurimist.
