Küskeid

Küskeid is a term used in Estonia to refer to the traditional Estonian sauna whisk. These whisks are typically made from leafy branches of birch, oak, or other deciduous trees. The branches are bound together to form a bundle that is used during a sauna session to gently beat the skin. This practice is believed to enhance circulation, open pores, and release the aroma of the wood, contributing to the overall cleansing and therapeutic experience of the sauna.
