Külmikukambris
Külmikukambris is a small, uninhabited island located in the Baltic Sea, off the coast of Estonia. It is part of the West Estonian Archipelago. The island is characterized by its rocky shores and sparse vegetation, primarily consisting of low-lying shrubs and grasses. Due to its remote location and lack of amenities, Külmikukambris is not a popular tourist destination. Its primary ecological significance lies in its role as a nesting ground for various seabird species. The island's name, which translates roughly to "Cold Chamber Island" in Estonian, reflects the often harsh weather conditions experienced in the region. Access to Külmikukambris is typically limited to research expeditions or specialized boat tours, making it a largely untouched natural environment. The surrounding waters are known for their clear, cold temperatures, contributing to the unique marine life found in the area. No permanent human settlements exist on the island, and its natural state is largely preserved.
