Középiskola is the Hungarian term for secondary school. It typically follows primary education, which usually concludes around the age of 14. Középiskola education in Hungary is compulsory for a certain period, usually ending at age 16 or 18, depending on the specific track chosen. There are several types of középiskola, each offering different pathways for students.
