Körtopológia

Körtopológia, also known as ring topology, is a network configuration in which each node is connected to exactly two other nodes, forming a single continuous path for signals to travel. This structure creates a closed loop, with no beginning or end, and ensures that data can travel in both directions around the ring. In a körtopológia network, each device has a unique address, and data packets are passed from one node to the next until they reach their destination. This topology is often used in token ring networks, where a token must be possessed by a node before it can transmit data. The main advantage of körtopológia is its simplicity and reliability, as the failure of a single node does not necessarily disrupt the entire network. However, it can be less efficient than other topologies for large networks, as data must travel through multiple nodes to reach its destination. Additionally, adding or removing nodes can be complex and may require the network to be taken offline.
