Köppenilla
Köppenilla is a genus of fungi belonging to the family Sclerotiniaceae. It is characterized by its small, cup-shaped apothecia, which are the fruiting bodies of the fungus. These apothecia typically arise from sclerotia, which are hardened masses of mycelium that can survive unfavorable conditions. The genus was first described by German mycologist Heinrich Rehm in 1904.
Species within Köppenilla are often found on decaying plant material, particularly wood and leaf litter. They
