Kärsäjiä

Kärsäjiä is a Finnish term that translates to "snout beetle" or more broadly refers to beetles belonging to the superfamily Curculionoidea. These insects are characterized by their elongated snouts, which are actually extensions of their heads. The length and shape of this snout can vary significantly among different species. Beetles in this group are commonly known as weevils.
