Kártyaszámok

Kártyaszámok, often translated as "card numbers" or "playing card numbers," is a traditional Hungarian game. It is a card game played with a standard 52-card deck, though variations can exist. The primary objective of the game is typically to be the first player to get rid of all their cards by matching the rank or suit of the previously played card.

The game usually involves two or more players. Each player is dealt a certain number of cards, with the remaining cards forming the draw pile. A single card is turned over from the draw pile to start the discard pile. Players then take turns playing a card from their hand onto the discard pile. The card played must match the top card of the discard pile in either rank (e.g., playing a 7 on a 7) or suit (e.g., playing a heart on a heart).

If a player cannot play a card that matches the discard pile, they must draw a card from the draw pile. If the drawn card can be played, they may play it immediately. Otherwise, their turn ends, and they keep the drawn card. Certain cards may have special actions associated with them, such as forcing the next player to draw cards or skipping their turn. The exact rules for these special cards can vary.

The game concludes when a player successfully plays their last card. They are then declared the winner. Kártyaszámok is a simple and accessible game, often played casually among friends and family.
