Kylarvätska
Kylarvätska, also known as coolant, is a liquid used to transfer heat from a source to a heat exchanger, where it is cooled and recycled. It is commonly used in automotive, industrial, and HVAC systems to prevent overheating of engines, machinery, and other equipment. Coolant is typically a mixture of water and ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, or other antifreeze compounds. These additives lower the freezing point of the water, preventing the coolant from freezing in cold temperatures, and raise the boiling point, allowing the coolant to operate at higher temperatures without boiling.
The primary function of kylarvätska is to absorb heat generated by the engine or machinery and transfer
In automotive applications, coolant is usually colored green or orange to indicate its type and concentration.
