Kuusjärvi

Kuusjärvi is a lake located in the municipality of Nurmijärvi, Finland. It is situated in the Uusimaa region, approximately 30 kilometers north of Helsinki. The lake is part of the Vantaa River drainage basin. Kuusjärvi is a relatively shallow lake with a surface area of about 1.5 square kilometers. Its name, meaning "spruce lake" in Finnish, reflects the surrounding coniferous forests that are characteristic of the area.
