Kuudenligandin

Kuudenligandin is a term that refers to a specific type of chemical complex. In coordination chemistry, a ligand is a molecule or ion that binds to a central metal atom to form a coordination complex. The number of ligands that can bind to a central metal atom is known as the coordination number. Kuudenligandin, therefore, describes a coordination complex where the central metal atom is bonded to six ligands.
