Kurram

Kurram, also known as Kurram Agency, is a district in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is located in the northwest of the country, bordering Afghanistan to the west and north. The district is characterized by its mountainous terrain, with the Kurram River flowing through it. The valley is known for its agricultural produce, including wheat, maize, and various fruits like apples and apricots.

In recent years, Kurram has faced security challenges due to its proximity to the Afghan border and historical geopolitical factors. However, efforts have been made to improve infrastructure and promote economic development. The Kurram Valley's natural beauty and historical significance attract some tourism, though it is not yet a major tourist destination.
