Kuparisuola

Kuparisuola is the Finnish word for copper salt. Copper salts are ionic compounds containing the copper cation and an anion. Copper commonly exists in two oxidation states, +1 (cuprous) and +2 (cupric), leading to different types of copper salts. Cuprous salts have the formula CuX, where X is an anion, and cupric salts have the formula CuX₂, where X is an anion.
