Kunarish
Kunarish is a term used to describe a cultural or ethnic group originating from the Kunar Province of Afghanistan. The province is located in the eastern part of the country, bordering Pakistan. The majority of the population in Kunar is Pashtun, with smaller communities of other ethnic groups. The region is known for its mountainous terrain and has historically been a strategic area, experiencing periods of conflict and instability. The culture of the Kunar region is largely influenced by Pashtun traditions, including strong tribal structures, a code of honor known as Pashtunwali, and Islamic religious practices. The economy is primarily agrarian, with agriculture and animal husbandry being the main sources of livelihood. The term Kunarish itself is not a formal ethnonym but rather a descriptive term referring to people associated with or from Kunar Province.
