Kujavian

Kujavian refers to a historical region in north-central Poland, as well as its inhabitants and dialect. The Kujawy region is situated between Greater Poland and Masovia, and its historical significance is tied to the early Polish state. The name "Kujawy" is believed to derive from the Kujaws, a Slavic tribe that inhabited the area in the early Middle Ages.
