Kudostiede
Kudostiede is the Finnish term for tissue science, the branch of biology and medicine that studies the structure and function of animal and human tissues. It encompasses the organization of cells and the extracellular matrix, tissue development and differentiation, and how tissues contribute to the function of organs and organisms. The field addresses healthy tissue architecture as well as changes that occur in disease, inflammation, injury, and aging. It overlaps with histology, cytology, and pathology and provides the anatomical and molecular framework used in clinical diagnosis and biomedical research.
Key focus areas include the major tissue types—epithelial, connective, muscle, and nervous tissue—along with the tissue
Education and applications: Kudostiede is taught within medical, dental, veterinary, and life sciences programs and is
