Koppelingspalen

Koppelingspalen, also known as coupling rods, are components used in steam locomotives and other machinery to transfer the rotating motion of a driving wheel or cylinder to a driven wheel or cylinder, respectively. This is typically done in cases where the driving and driven elements are not in a direct line, requiring an intermediate linkage to transmit the rotary motion.
