Koolitoimingutele, also known as "cooling towers," are structures used to transfer heat from a liquid to the atmosphere. Natural draft cooling towers rely on the natural flow of air created by the temperature difference between the warm air inside the tower and the cooler air outside. Mechanical draft cooling towers, on the other hand, use fans or blowers to force air through the tower. Both types can be further classified as counterflow or crossflow based on the direction of air and water movement within the tower.

Cooling towers are essential for maintaining optimal operating temperatures in various industries, including manufacturing, chemical processing, and power generation. They help prevent equipment overheating, improve energy efficiency, and extend the lifespan of machinery.
