Konverzaním

Konverzaním is a Czech word that functions as a noun meaning “conversion” or “the act of converting.” It derives from the verb konvertovat, which in turn comes from the Latin convertĕre. The suffix –aním is a common Czech nominalisation that turns an action into a noun, similar to how English uses the gerund form.

In everyday Czech speech the term is most often found in contexts related to religious conversion, demographic change, or the adaptation of processes and systems. For example, a paragraph in a sociology article might read: „Růst konverzaním mezi mladými komunitami byl z velké části podpořen online fóra“ (The increase in conversion among young communities was largely supported by online forums).
