Kondensationspartikelzähler
Kondensationspunkt refers to the temperature at which a gas or vapor transitions into a liquid state. This process, known as condensation, occurs when the vapor pressure of the substance equals the surrounding atmospheric pressure. Several factors influence the condensation point, including the specific substance, ambient pressure, and the presence of impurities. For water, the condensation point at standard atmospheric pressure is 100 degrees Celsius (212 degrees Fahrenheit), which is also its boiling point. However, this temperature changes with altitude; at higher altitudes, the atmospheric pressure is lower, leading to a lower condensation point.
The phenomenon of condensation is observable in everyday life, such as the formation of dew on grass
