Kommandiittiyhtiömiehet

Kommandiittiyhtiömiehet refers to the partners in a Finnish limited partnership, known as a kommandiittiyhtiö. A kommandiittiyhtiö is a type of business entity where there are at least two partners. These partners are divided into two categories: general partners (vastuunalaiset yhtiömiehet) and limited partners (kommandiittiyhtiömiehet in the stricter sense, or sijoittajayhtiömiehet).

General partners are fully liable for the company's debts and obligations with their personal assets. They are typically involved in the day-to-day management of the business. Limited partners, on the other hand, contribute capital to the company and their liability is limited to the amount of their capital contribution. They generally do not participate in the management of the partnership. The specific rights and responsibilities of both types of partners are determined by the partnership agreement and Finnish company law. The formation and operation of a kommandiittiyhtiö require registration in the Finnish Trade Register.
