Koeffisidentekoeffisientteja is a neologism used in some Finnish mathematical discussions to refer to coefficients of coefficients in nested or multi-level coefficient structures. The term combines koeffisientti (coefficient) with tek—implying a coefficient that itself carries coefficients—and the plural suffix -teja. It is primarily a descriptive label for second-order coefficient data rather than a distinct formal theory.

Formally, suppose a family of coefficients c_i resides in a vector space V with a chosen basis {b_j}. Each coefficient can be expressed as a linear combination c_i = sum_j a_{ij} b_j, where a_{ij} are scalars. The collection of all a_{ij} for the index pairs (i, j) constitutes the koeffisidentekoeffisientteja, i.e., a matrix A = [a_{ij}]. Thus the koeffisidentekoeffisientteja form a two-dimensional array that encodes the coefficients of the original coefficients with respect to the chosen basis.

In practice, these second-order coefficients arise when the coefficients themselves come from a basis expansion. For example, if c_i are polynomials in t expressed in the basis {1, t, t^2, ...}, then the a_{ij} are the coefficients of those polynomials, organized by the index i of the original coefficients and the degree j in the basis.
