Kirinyaga
Kirinyaga is a county in Kenya, located in the former Central Province. The county headquarters are in Kerugoya, and its largest town is also Kerugoya. Kirinyaga is situated on the northeastern slopes of Mount Kenya, a region known for its fertile volcanic soil and abundant rainfall. This makes it a prime agricultural area, with coffee and tea being the dominant cash crops. Subsistence farming of maize, beans, and bananas is also widespread.
