Kinjekitile
Kinjekitile was a prominent figure in the Maji Maji Rebellion, a significant uprising against German colonial rule in Tanganyika (present-day Tanzania) from 1905 to 1907. Born around 1875, Kinjekitile was a spiritual leader and a healer who hailed from the Ngindo people. He rose to prominence by claiming to possess a potent "medicine" or amulet (maji) that he believed would render his followers' bodies impervious to German bullets, making them invincible in battle.
