Kilakítások

Kilakítások refers to the process of eviction in Hungary. It is a legal procedure that allows a landlord to legally remove a tenant from a property. This can occur for various reasons, primarily non-payment of rent, breach of contract, or illegal activity on the premises. The process is governed by Hungarian property law and requires specific steps to be followed.

Typically, a landlord must first provide the tenant with a formal written notice to vacate. This notice usually specifies the reason for the eviction and a deadline for the tenant to leave the property. If the tenant fails to comply with the notice, the landlord can then initiate legal proceedings by filing a lawsuit with the court. The court will review the case and, if the landlord's claim is valid, will issue an eviction order.

Enforcement of the eviction order is carried out by bailiffs. They are responsible for physically removing the tenant and their belongings from the property if the tenant still refuses to leave voluntarily. There are legal protections in place for tenants, and landlords cannot engage in self-help evictions, such as changing locks or cutting off utilities, without a court order.
