Kesälahti is a former municipality of Finland. It is located in the North Karelia region. In 2013, Kesälahti merged with the town of Kitee. The area is known for its natural beauty, characterized by lakes and forests typical of the Finnish Lakeland. Before the merger, Kesälahti was part of the province of Eastern Finland. The municipality's administrative center was the village of Kesälahti, which is still a significant locality within Kitee.
