Keskeytysyn

Keskeytysyn is a term that appears only sporadically in written Finnish. It is not a standard entry in major Finnish dictionaries. In ordinary usage, the noun keskeytys means interruption or a stoppage, such as an interruption of a process or a service.

Regarding its form, keskeytysyn does not align with standard inflection patterns for keskeytys. The normative genitive of keskeytys is keskeytyksen, and common constructions to express interruption of something use combinations such as X:n keskeytys or keskeytys X:stä, depending on case. If keskeytysyn appears in a text, it is usually considered a nonstandard variant, a misspelling, or a dialectal/poetic spelling rather than a widely recognized lexical item.

Because there is no established definition, there are no formal senses attributed to keskeytysyn. When discussing interruption in Finnish, speakers rely on keskeytys with proper inflection and related phrases. The term might occur in informal writing, OCR errors, or attempts to imitate older Finnish, but it should not be treated as a separate entry in standard Finnish lexica.
