Keshara

Keshara is a non-return valve or a type of valve used in fluids or gas systems to prevent the backward flow of liquid or gas. It is akin to a one-way valve, where fluid flow can occur in one direction through the valve, but the return flow is restricted.

This type of valve is used in a variety of applications where backflow must be excluded. Systems such as pneumatic tools, high-pressure washers, and hydraulic systems benefit from employing keshara valves to regulate fluid movement and maintain system performance.

In broader contexts, keshara can relate to objects or devices that serve as barriers, preventing non-desired return or back movement. For instance, in road construction or design, a keshara refers to a mound of earth, cobble or gravel used as a barrier, perhaps to divert fluids away from high risk areas.

The concept of non-returning or restricted flows is also acknowledged in terms such as 'check-valve', particularly when referencing valves that only allow fluid to pass in one direction and then purport to avoid the rear flow in possible calamites.

System designers and engineers identify challenges such as operating pressure and leak limits influenced decision of usage of keshara while either as a specific fixture or function itself for fine managing the pipework configurations during operational conditions.
