Kekuatan

Kekuatan (from kuat, strong) is an Indonesian and Malay noun meaning strength, power, or force. It is formed with the prefix ke- and the suffix -an to create an abstract noun indicating a state or quality, in contrast to the adjective kuat meaning strong. The term is widely used across everyday language and formal discourse.

It can refer to physical strength, as in kekuatan fisik; to inner resilience or mental capacity; or to the capacity of individuals or groups to influence outcomes, such as kekuatan politik, ekonomi, atau militer. In organizational or strategic contexts, kekuatan denotes overall capability or influence rather than a specific measurement. In technical or scientific writing, more precise terms such as gaya (force) or daya (power) may be used, while kekuatan remains a general concept of influence or capacity.
