Kaupankäyntianalyysi, known in English as trading analysis, is the process of evaluating financial markets to make informed trading decisions. There are two primary approaches to trading analysis: technical analysis and fundamental analysis.

Technical analysis focuses on historical price data and trading volumes. For stocks, fundamental analysis might include analyzing a company's financial statements, management, industry trends, and overall economic conditions. For currencies, it would involve looking at macroeconomic indicators like interest rates, inflation, and political stability. The goal is to determine if an asset is overvalued or undervalued relative to its true worth.

Many traders combine both technical and fundamental analysis to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the market. This dual approach can help confirm signals and reduce the risk of making trading errors.
