In Finnish, common examples of katkaisusanoihin include words like "no" (well), "mutta" (but), "ja" (and), "tai" (or), "sitten" (then), "eli" (that is), "eli siis" (so, in other words), and "niin" (so, thus). These elements help to signal relationships such as addition, contrast, causality, explanation, or sequence. For instance, "no" can be used to start a response, indicate hesitation, or introduce a new topic, while "mutta" clearly signals a contrast or exception.
