Kationiczne
Kationiczne is the Polish term used in chemistry to describe species or substances that carry a net positive electric charge. In practice it refers to cations and to molecules or polymers bearing positively charged groups. Examples include inorganic cations such as Na+, Ca2+, and organic cations formed by protonated amines (RNH3+) or quaternary ammonium groups (NR4+). Quaternary ammonium compounds are particularly common as permanently charged cationic surfactants. In polymers, kationiczne materials feature repeating positively charged groups along the chain, giving the overall charge.
In solution, kationiczne species interact strongly with negatively charged (anionic) species and surfaces. The charge state
Applications of kationiczne substances are broad. They are used as surfactants in detergents and disinfectants, conditioning
Safety and environmental considerations vary by structure. Many cationic surfactants can be irritants and may affect
