Karltejn
Karlstejn is a municipality and a castle located in the Beroun District, Central Bohemian Region, in the Czech Republic. The municipality is situated in a hilly landscape southwest of Prague, along the Berounka River. The most prominent feature of Karlstejn is its imposing Gothic castle, Karlštejn Castle, which was founded in 1348 by Emperor Charles IV as a treasury for the crown jewels of the Holy Roman Empire and for his own relics.
The castle is a significant historical monument and a popular tourist destination. Its architecture is characterized
