Karbonutslipps
Karbonutslipps, often referred to as carbon emissions, are the release of carbon dioxide and other carbon compounds into the atmosphere. These emissions are a primary driver of climate change and global warming. The most significant source of anthropogenic (human-caused) carbon emissions is the burning of fossil fuels, such as coal, oil, and natural gas, for energy production, transportation, and industrial processes. Deforestation also contributes substantially, as trees absorb carbon dioxide during photosynthesis and release it when they are cut down or burned.
The concentration of carbon dioxide in the Earth's atmosphere has risen dramatically since the Industrial Revolution.
Efforts to mitigate carbon emissions involve a transition to renewable energy sources like solar and wind
