Karasjohkas
Karasjohkas is a locality in Karasjok Municipality in Finnmark county, Norway. It is situated on the Karasjok river, approximately 5 kilometers north of the municipal center of Karasjok. The area is primarily known for its natural surroundings and is characterized by sparse vegetation typical of the Arctic tundra. Historically, Karasjohkas, like much of Finnmark, has been inhabited by the Sámi people, and the area continues to hold cultural significance.
The economy of Karasjohkas is largely based on traditional Sámi livelihoods such as reindeer herding and fishing.
