Kaithal

Kaithal is a city and a municipal corporation in the Kaithal district of the state of Haryana, India. It is one of the historical districts of Haryana. The city is located on the plains of North India and is situated 100 km north-west of Delhi.

The city's origins are traced back to ancient times. Legend states that Kaithal was founded by the Pandavas and the Kauravas of the Mahabharata era. Historically, it was the seat of powerful rulers.
