KNWU

KNWU stands for Koninklijke Nederlandsche Wielren Unie, the national governing body for cycling in the Netherlands. It is responsible for the governance, development, licensing, and regulation of competitive cycling across all disciplines, including road racing, track cycling, cyclo-cross, mountain biking, and BMX. The organization coordinates with regional associations and clubs to manage calendars, licenses, race permits, rules compliance, and safety standards, and it oversees the administration of national championships and national rankings. It also selects and manages the Netherlands’ national teams for international competition.

KNWU is a member federation of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and of NOC*NSF, the Dutch Olympic
