Küllastatuks

Küllastatuks is an Estonian term that translates to "saturated" or "filled to capacity." In chemistry, it refers to a solution that contains the maximum amount of solute that can be dissolved at a given temperature and pressure. If more solute is added to a saturated solution, it will not dissolve and will typically precipitate out or remain as a solid. The process of reaching saturation involves the dynamic equilibrium between dissolving solute and crystallizing solute. The point of saturation is a critical factor in many chemical processes, including crystallization, precipitation, and the determination of solubility. Understanding saturation is essential for controlling chemical reactions and for processes involving solutions. For example, one might say they are "küllastatuks informatsiooniga" meaning they are saturated with information and can no longer absorb more.
