Jäännösvelat

When a debtor undergoes a formal insolvency process, such as bankruptcy, the aim is typically to resolve as much of their outstanding debt as possible. The debts that remain unpaid after the bankruptcy estate has been liquidated and distributed are considered jäännösvelat.
