JászNagykunSzolnok is a county located in the central-eastern part of Hungary. Its administrative center and largest city is Szolnok. The county is part of the Northern Great Plain region and is bordered by the counties of Hajdú-Bihar, Békés, Csongrád-Csanád, Pest, and Heves. The Tisza River, the second longest river in Hungary, flows through the county, significantly influencing its geography and history.

The name JászNagykunSzolnok is derived from three historical regions within its current borders: Jászság, Nagykunság, and the city of Szolnok. Jászság is known for its distinct cultural heritage and the Jász people, while Nagykunság was historically settled by Cumans. The county's economy is largely based on agriculture, with significant production of grains, corn, and sunflowers. Livestock farming, particularly pig and cattle breeding, is also important.
