Juno

Juno is primarily the name of the ancient Roman goddess Juno, wife and sister of Jupiter and queen of the gods. She presided over marriage, childbirth, and the protection of the state, and was a prominent figure in Roman religion and myth. In art and literature she is often depicted with symbols such as a peacock and a veil. The name is historically linked to the month of June and to various cults associated with her, including Juno Moneta, the goddess worshiped at the Roman mint.
